We're thrilled! In June 2014, MAC Studio was selected to complete the San Francisco Green Schoolyards through the Green Schoolyard Bond program. The schools will be primarily middle and high schools.

Shalini Agrawal of MAC Studio,  and director of the Center for Art and Public Life at California College of the Arts,  presents a participatory installation and archive project in partnership with artist Chris Treggiari and Yerba Buean Center for the Arts. YBCA’s Room for Big Ideas presents an ongoing exploration that illuminates and demystifies the Social Practice model. Through interviews with artists, designers, community partners, and community members, Shalini and Chris identify the commonalities and differences in process and language used by a variety of practitioners in the Bay Area and beyond, in an effort to create accessibility and understanding for a larger audience. The exhibition invites viewers to become active participants and collaborators through an ongoing dialogue surrounding social practice. From April 22, 2014 through June 29, 2014.
